UFC fighter Joe Riggs shot himself in the thigh on July 28th while cleaning his gun at his Arizona home.
The fighter is a licensed gun owned and mentioned the accident as the cause of carelessness on his part. DUH!
The bullet hit his thigh and also injured his hand, causing him to miss his next fight.
He was scheduled for a bout with Paulo Thiago in the octagon on September 13th during UFC Fight Night 51 in Brazil.
